Knit ‘n’ Natter is a friendly, welcoming group that meets each week to knit, chat, and enjoy one another’s company. Alongside plenty of conversation (and tea and biscuits), we work on a variety of projects for good causes.
Much of our knitting supports the Christmas Shoebox Appeal, and we also make blankets for premature babies at Simpson’s Maternity Unit in Edinburgh. Members create additional items to sell at church and local Christmas fairs, helping to raise funds for other church groups and charities. There’s also the opportunity to work on your own projects.
New members are always very welcome, whether you’re an experienced knitter or just starting out - we simply ask that you bring your own wool and needles.
The group meets every Friday afternoon from 1–3pm (apart from July and Christmas), and there’s always a warm welcome waiting.
